Death of Freedom and Democracy in Windsor

The Windsor Star our one and only newspaper has thwarted any and all potential candiates for the mayor's office.

Mayor Eddie Francis  will be acclaimed, a travesty that  should never have happened !

This heinous behavior by The Star is to sure the editor's wife's job  as the mayor's personal assistance.

styky

Folks the first person to ever put me in my place for being what I am ,an idiot ,was a lady from Winnipeg .

styky is her username and you best not fool with her as she is one of the quickest bloggers  online.

She is a diehard "Blue Bombers" fan and likes to cook.

I go to her for help in my searches as she is so efficent , as I usually get distracted and have a short memory. { I confess I look at porn) Embarassed

styky hope you read this tiny tribute and enjoyed a nice refreshing glass of ice cold lemonade.

1/4 tsp. yeast

Add the ginger, sugar, lime juice and zest with 2 cups of water in the blender.Blend until smooth.

Place in a small pot and bring to a boil for 2 minutes.Let cool

Wash a a 2 litre plastic bottle with cap. Add the yeast the remaining water and slowly add the syrup and lastly the hot pepper leaving 2 inches from the top.

Let it sit some place warm for 24 hours to fermante .

Next day very slowly open the bottle to expell the gas.Strain through a nonreactive mesh strainer then through a damp cloth.

Chill and enjoy.

What the feck are they made of?

The other day while making a purchase the cashier returned the change and that it was when I noticed our coins seemed lighter. After a closer examination of the coins I came to the conclusion that the former director of the Canadian Mint must of skimmed off some the purer precious metals and sold them off to some tinpot dictator.Maybe Iraq for the metals in their WMDs or North Korea's nuclear program. My guess the metals went to the most ruthless and heinous of people "Dentists" to be used in fillings, posts and braces.

While palming the coins I was reminded of the foil wrapped chocolate coins children gamble with when they spin the dredel.

I took a quarter, checked it's weight and balance then gave it a flick. To my disappointment the coin sailed like a Joey Herrington pass by failing to reach an apex when it stopped flying and started to flutter.Oh for the coins of my youth when the nickel was made from real nickel and the pennies would turn green.

The coin of old would penetrate and embed into a human skull

So I ask" What good are coins if they can't inflict pain or damage"

Oh yes I used slugs in the days of my youth.
